  • What is the duty f a Tax Professional?
Per the IRA a Paid Tax Professional is primarily responsible for the overall substantive accuracy of your return as required by law. Although the Tax Professional signs the return you are ultimately responsible for the accuracy of every item reported on your return. You have the option of assigning your Tax Professional as a Third Party Designee for the purposes of discussing your information with the IRS, this authorization is valid for one year. As Tax Professionals we ARE NOT: Enrolled Agents Tax Lawyers Certified Public Accountants Tax Resolution Specialists IRS Agents or Representatives Attorney And therefore, cannot perform services outside of the scope of our work. We are always more than happy to refer you to professionals who are more skilled in a particular area should you require additional services
